Client was on probation for Misdemeanor DUI and tested positive for alcohol. Convinced Judge and probation officer to not arrest client and only order an additional 16 hours of community service. No jail.
Felony First Offender Probation Violation (VOP)
January 2025
Client was on First Offender probation and allegedly violated by committing a new felony offense. Convinced Judge and Prosecutor to reinstate client to probation. Client immediately released from jail. Client retained First Offender status such that client is still eligible for record restriction upon completion of probation.

Client was on probation for Felony Aggravated Assault and committed a new felony offense. Convinced Judge and Prosecutor to release Client with credit for time served of only 90 days.

Client reinstated to probation and immediately released. Client admitted to violating probation due to a positive drug screen and a new misdemeanor charge. Client was on First Offender probation for Violation of the Georgia Gang Act and attempted Armed Robbery. Convinced the Judge to allow Client to keep First Offender status, to reinstate to probation, and to release immediately.

Client was facing a violation for three new charges and failure to report. Prosecutor asked the Judge to revoke client to prison for 5 years. Convinced the Judge to sentence client to drug treatment instead.

Motion to Modify Sentence on Probation Violation
JULY 2024
Client had 16 years of sentence revoked to prison on probation violation. We filed a motion to modify the sentence and convinced the Judge to reduce the 16 years to only 5 years.
